Host Families Needed
EMY Cursos en el Extranjero is an agency in the north of Spain that coordinates language immersion programs around the world. For over 20 years, EMY has sent a group of teens to Connecticut in the summer to practice their English, while living with (and becoming part of) an American host family. Though the experience lasts just one month (June 28th - July 25th) the bond between these remarkable kids and their families can last a lifetime!
This program is based in Wallingford. However, families may also live in the surrounding towns, including: Meriden, Hamden, North Haven, and Cheshire.

Host Families
Receive:

An enriching experience where you can build a lifelong bond with a young person who (very quickly) becomes a part of your family

The opportunity to connect with other families in the community and participate in a wide range of activities including trips to Six Flags, Ocean Beach, Boston, and New York City, as well as welcome and farewell parties, and a prom.

$350 stipend (food, gas & participation in trips)
